My name is Ryan (known online as Gubby), and this is my quaint, slightly autistic corner of the World Wide Web. I'm a fat chud living in the depressingly beautiful west coast of Canada, still figuring out what to do with his life.Since this is my first time tinkering with web design, please excuse me for any bugs or embed issues here

So, umWelcome to my blog.I'm not sure if I'll maintain this place regularly. Ideally, this will be the space to put down my thoughts and daily happenings that I'd REALLY like etched for a long time. Y'know, like the stuff I wouldn't like to be shoved into a journal re-read only a decade later. I'll see how it goes.

And here goes the first entry of the blog....All in all, I'm pretty sure this will become my third or fourth journal of sorts (i lost count since 8th grade). However, I'll hopefully be able to rant about some more thoughtfull things here than just descriptions of my day. Everything from new creative projects, shower thoughts, school problems and a good old vent session. Oh, and hello to whoever else's taking the time to read the blog! I'll post updates here whenever my schedule permits as long as school's still going on. Fingers crossed I'll won't accidentally overshare too much to get more stalkers than I already have....Anyways, I've gotta go to bed sooner or later. I've been trying real hard since August to shift my sleep schedule to waking up at 6:30 every day, and getting six hours of sleep for a week just isn't cutting it. Here's to many, many more entries to come!

It's been nearly a fortnight since my last entry here. Not saying that things have been uneventful, though.I've had a long weekend this week and not much school work assigned in the meantime; it's dead easy staying on top of everything with free blocks scattered everywhere on my schedule. In the meantime, I'm trying to make the most out of the last sunny days of Autumn. Strolling across the neighbourhood, doomscrolling in my high school's field, and spontaneously arriving at my friends' doorsteps for a hangout like we did all summer. Its hard to believe that things will just get more cloudy and wet from now on!Anyways, I've been wandering around my old Elementary School along yesterday. The place was dead silent and a shit ton more dilapidated since I left. Curiously, one of the doors leading to the interior were unlocked -- one leading to the kindergartener's wing. I seized the opportunity without a second thought to explore.Fuck. If I actually get caught for this a few days from now, this entry is not going to help my case.Other than that, it was pretty surreal creeping through the darkened hallways. The only source of light were the dying afternoon sun glowing through the door. Everything was still and tense until I turned to a corridor leading to another exit. I swore I wasn't seeing things when something resembling a disembodied head suddenly slid into my vision from a nearby doorframe. A head with uniform, short black hair instead of a face. That shit was definitely responding to my presence here. bolted out that place without a second word.Or it could've been a toilet brush or two mirrors reflecting to the back of my head. All coincidentally placed at the right place and time. With how smoothly and suddenly that thing moved, however, I'm still not sure if it's just that.Moral of the story? Don't explore closed buildings and risk tresspassing offences alone. Invite your friends to split the fine and get traumatised together. And to all lose sleep over whatever the fuck you hallucinated or actually saw moving in that one lonely corridor.
